An Introduction...

I started my career in Marketing, but rarely did any of my roles actually resemble my job description. This is because I would ask the owners, CEO and any other business leaders two questions: 1) what their biggest goal was for the business and 2) what was their biggest pain point to solve. In all cases, the answers to both questions were to be found mostly in marketing, capability or systems; whether the leadership were innovating to meet the needs of customers; and lastly, how effectively projects were identified, resourced, funded and implemented by the leadership team. Born in Perth, WA, I moved to Sydney NSW and carried out marketing roles for large global organisations such as Andersen, Ernst&Young, Weyerhauser Inc, Jeld-Wen and Bradnam's Windows & Doors. I also worked for AusIndustry (assessing grants from the other side of the table), in IT and in small/startup businesses. I have also established a family fabrication business which we have been operating since 2001 in both Sydney and Perth, so I understand the realities of being an entrepreneur too. I am passionate about helping business owners lead, communicate, systemise, innovate and implement the right projects to transform their businesses. Designing the right business for their stage of life, priorities and what's important, especially as we approach the 50+ years. Philosophy
The basis of all business is people. The creativity, innovation, inspiration and unique capability of your business all comes from your team and what you bring to the table as the founder/leader. It means as the source of financial reward for many, creating a business that is resilient, successful and with a growth mindset is essential.

Success comes from collaboration, so I am proud to be part of District 32, as well as many other networks of incredibly talented people. If I am not the best fit for you as an advisor, then I will work to find someone who can better fit with your requirements. While I do have vendors and systems I have worked with and prefer, I will always offer the best alternative for the client, with transparency about any affliliations or financial reward.
Vision
I want to help founders of small businesses create businesses that financially support their families, as well as achieve personal and legacy goals. My purpose is to take the pain out of scaling up, so the benefits of greater revenue is balanced by robust systems, risk management, motivated teams to make business a rewarding, invigorating and opportunity-driven experience, each and every day.
